Antique gold shimmer shawl with gold organza hat wedding races garden party

Lovely complementary combination of shawl and hat for that special occasion. The shawl is a gorgeous knitted type material with a metallic gold thread running through the yarn. The shawl is a great size for keeping the sun or wind away or adding that touch of modesty! The shawl measures 152cm (62”) by 51cm (20”). The shimmery gold hat is made from organza. The brim measures 41cm (16”) across the diameter and it protrudes 14cm from the head. The upper part of the brim has a gathered, black edged organza frill. A central band runs around the head part of the hat and this leads to the side decoration. A profusion of bows and loops in the edged organza make a wonderful design, centrally from this detail are ivory pearls loops on strands. Internal ties lend to the hat being adjustable from 55-59cm (21.6-23.2”) head circumferences and there is an elastic strap too that helps the hat stay securely in it’s place. The hat is collapsible and can be packed into your case and will regain it’s shape once taken out - it can be lightly ironed or steamed but out of all those I’ve photographed to date that’s only been on 4- so I can vouch it can be ironed steamed and resurrects easily once packed.
