Print quality reaches up to 600 dpi for clear text and detailed graphics, with a maximum print height of 0.5 in and effectively unlimited print length for long serials, continuous codes or extended product descriptions. On-device controls are provided by a 4.3 in high-definition touchscreen that enables multi-line editing, free layout design, adjustable fonts and sizes without the need for a phone, computer or external app. The printer includes built-in support for 28 languages (default English) and allows installation of additional scripts via .ttf fonts. Files and images can be imported directly from the included USB drive, including picture files and Excel files for batch or bulk printing. The device is unencrypted and compatible with third-party 0.5 in replacement cartridges sold separately, facilitating onsite replacement and inventory flexibility. A supplied location plate helps align prints and improves repeatability for batch marking tasks, which is useful for consistent placement in manufacturing or packaging lines.
