OMEGA Genève Crosshair Solid Gold 9ct - 1958 - Caliber 267 Originally purchased for my grandfather by my grandmother, and later handed down to my father, and now me. Unfortunately I have too many watches, including a prized watch from my father hence this one is now sadly spare. Family owned from new, purchased from Storeys in Barrow in Furness in 1958. Original papers from purchase included in the sale Omega Genève (1958) Gold faced, with 9ct gold body. New strap (worn twice), and with service papers from June 2024. Still under warranty from the service centre. Model: Omega Genève, specifically case reference 13332. Case: Manufactured in England by Dennison, a renowned British case maker, to avoid high import taxes on complete watches in the post-war era. 9ct gold measuring approximately 34mm in diameter. Movement: Caliber 267, a highly regarded manual-wind movement from Omega's famous "30 series". It features 17 jewels, Incabloc shock absorption, and a frequency of 18,000 BPH. Dial: Characterised by a "crosshair" design, Gold on Gold, baton hour markers, and a distinctive crosshair pattern with a small subdial for seconds.
