- Applicability: The rain barrel diverter kit fits standard 2x3 inch rectangular downspouts. Works with plastic barrels, wooden barrels and garbage cans. NOTE: NOT for circular downspout and metal drums.
- Reduce Overflow: The downspout diverter regulates the amount of water in the rain barrel to a consistent height. Once the water level equals, the height of the diverter, water continues to flow down the downspout, eliminating the need for an overflow hose.
- Store Cleaner Rainwater: With a diverter, debris continues to flow down the down spout instead of flowing into the top of your rain barrel as is the case of a rain barrel without a diverter.
- Easy to Install: This rubberized downspout diverter head is flexible. It inserts into standard downspouts with a simple hole, and no need to cut your downspout.
- Complete Kit: The diverter kit includes all parts needed to convert any barrel into a rain barrel. We have also provided a free small hole saw for drilling the hole of spigot. (Spigot isn't included)
