Vintage Set 2 Hummel Like Hand Painted Ceramics Hiking Children Peach Pink Beige
These are large figurines - see measurements in photos.
What we like about these: When placed side by side, the children look like they are talking. We appreciate that these were hand painted, non-commercial, and likely the only one of their kind. The painter did detailed work. Her initials (M.M.) are found on the bottom of both pieces. Oh, and we love that the girl has grapes in her backpack.
These remind us of the 1960s / 1970s when our mothers took ceramic painting class once a week. We appreciate the vintage pink / peach tones which vary from the usual colorful choices.
The umbrella has been broken but repaired well. See final photo.
